Lockheed T-33 vertical stabiliser

This vertical stabiliser of a former United States Navy T-33 Shooting Star training aircraft is still carrying its original paint and serial. Built as a training aircraft in the early fifties, T-Bird 136838, coded 7C, flew as part of the USNavy Reserves at NAS Columbus.

Self-standing

The operational days of this Shooting Star are long gone. Its vertical stabiliser can live on though for many years. It is now available as a very cool looking collectible. Almost 70 years old, with a distinctive shape, impressive size and crackle paint, this self-standing stabiliser will be conversation starter in any setting.
